Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
ProxyPigeon is a proxy diagnostics, proxy playback and authorised web-testing service. This policy explains the information processed when you use the website and workspace.
Information we process
We process account information such as your email address and display name; a securely hashed version of your password; session identifiers; your paid-access status and Stripe customer or checkout references; proxy-test and web-test history that you submit; transient playback configuration and status needed to run Proxy Player sessions; and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. ProxyPigeon does not store full card numbers. Stripe may process payment, billing, promotion-code, fraud-prevention and device information under its own privacy terms.
Diagnostic and playback data
Proxy endpoints, target URLs, test results, latency, exit IP information and related web-run history may be stored so your workspace can provide persistent history. Proxy Player processes video IDs/URLs, proxy endpoints and live session state while a playback job is running. Current Player session state is operational data and may be lost when the service restarts. Do not submit secrets or data you are not authorised to process.
Affiliate links
When you follow a provider link, ProxyPigeon may record the provider, page source and referring page so we can measure link performance. The destination provider then handles your data under its own privacy policy.
Why we process data
We use this information to provide the service, authenticate users, run requested tests and playback sessions, preserve supported history, process access entitlements, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and understand which provider recommendations are useful.
Infrastructure and processors
ProxyPigeon uses third-party infrastructure and payment services, including Railway for application/database hosting and Stripe for payments. Remote playback uses a server-side Chromium browser inside the application infrastructure. Data may therefore be processed by those providers according to the agreements and safeguards applicable to their services.
Retention
Account and workspace data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards where needed for security, legal, accounting or dispute purposes. Diagnostic history may be deleted or anonymised as the product evolves. Transient Player session state is not intended as permanent history.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal data, and to request data portability. Requests can be sent to privacy@proxypigeon.uk.
Security
ProxyPigeon uses HTTPS, HTTP-only session cookies, password hashing, server-side access checks and network-safety controls. Proxy credentials are redacted from user-facing session labels. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the product, providers or legal requirements change. The date above will be updated when material changes are published.
